Lophophora Williamsii
Family: Cactaceae
Peyote is the common (Nahuatl- or Aztec-derived) name for Lophophora williamsii, an endangered cactus native to northern Mexico and the Southwestern United States.
We host a great variety of this Specie, but this medicine has been carried throughout time by the Wixaritari people, to which it belongs. They are one of the Mexican native cultures most resilient to outside influences.

It is a spineless, grey-green or bluish green shaped cactus.
It is a Plant that requires patience, as the process of growth is very slow, and it can take up to 15 years before the pinkish, with flower will appear for the first time.
