It is important that our project is guided by the principles of these tribes, and we actively bring in Elders for wisdom exchange around stewardship practices.
This creates a mutually beneficial symbiosis where we support Indigenous communities through spreading their message, returning plants to them and providing platforms for financial growth.
Bringing them to our center helps us to stay aligned to the traditions living within the plants. It allows us to bring our stewardship to a more whole level that's not limited to just botanical preservation but also wisdom integration.

Kalpulli Ome Tlanezi
The Kalpulli is a community, a family, and an ancestral institution that brings together indigenous men and women to assist people and carry forth the ancestral traditions passed down from their Abuelos.
Here we follow their teachings on traditional Mexica's Temazcal and their ceremonies.
It is very important for us to keep this relationship and always find a way to bring the Elders here on site, to share this great wisdom with our community.
In March we participate together at Envision Festival, hosting the Sacred Fire through the week.
The Living Library has collaborated with the Kalpully Ometlanezi in various occasion and keep supporting their community throughout time.
In July, every year, we will fly to Mexico and support their Sun Dance, an indigenous Ceremony, where we will help building and the 4 days of the Dance.
(Contact us if you like to know more about the Sun Dance and would like to make a petition for being part of our team.)
